Summer 2012 tomatoes

Roma tomatoes from Costco
Orange Mexico Midget from Aravaipa heirlooms

Not a prolific year in terms of tomatoes. I like the Orange Mexico Midget; great flavor, a bit more tart, and yellow orange color. But in the end it didn't produce very much in the way of fruit. But after the presentation by master gardeners at our monthly garden meeting yesterday, I suspect they need a bit more phosphorous. The Roma plant is quite ugly and a lot of the fruit are getting chewed on before I get to them, but the ones I've harvested are still pretty tasty.
